Good Night Sleep 1Bdrm 2 Queen Beds Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked up to Good Night Sleep 1Bdrm 2 Queen Beds, I’ll be honest — the name pretty much tells you everything you need to know. This three-star property on 13th Street NW doesn’t try to be something it’s not, and that’s actually refreshing. It’s a straightforward, well-maintained place that delivers exactly what it promises: a good night’s sleep in a solid location.
Location & Neighborhood
The spot on 13th Street in Northwest Washington is honestly better than I expected. You’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to Columbia Heights and still feel connected to the city without being right in the tourist chaos downtown. I mean, couples are rating the location 8.3 out of 10, and after spending a few days here, I get why. There’s this great mix of local restaurant and coffee shops within a few blocks, plus the Metro isn’t far when you need to get around the city.
The Room Setup
Here’s what works about this place — the room layout is actually pretty smart. You get a proper one-bedroom setup with two queen beds, which sounds weird until you realize how practical it is. Families can spread out, friends traveling together aren’t cramped, and honestly, having that extra space just makes everything more comfortable. The beds are decent quality (I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the whole time.
What Makes It Work
You know what I appreciated most? The attention to the basics. The Wi-Fi actually works well, the air conditioning keeps up during DC’s humid summers, and the bathroom has good water pressure — small things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two. The building itself feels secure, and I never had any issues with noise from other guests or the street. There’s parking available too, which anyone who’s tried to park in DC will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
Why Guests Love It
Recent guests have been rating this place 8.8 for location, and after staying here, I think it comes down to that neighborhood feel I mentioned. You’re not in some sterile hotel district — you’re in a real part of the city where people actually live and work. The value is solid too; you’re getting more space than most hotel rooms for the price, and the setup works whether you’re here for business or just exploring the city. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable, comfortable, and in a spot that lets you experience DC like someone who actually lives here rather than just passing through. This apartment-style accommodation offers genuine comfort and authentic neighborhood charm.

A very comfortable, attractive and well-designed apartment in a great location, just 1.5 blocks away from the Columbia Heights metro station and within easy walking distance of the Smithsonian National Zoo (20 mins)

The apartment was amazing! Everything was clean, which was great because you never know until you get there. Two king-size beds, with four very comfortable pillows on each. Then there was a full kitchen! Including a stove, refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer, also a table and chairs. The upgraded bathroom was not too big, but the shower was.It was just like the picture I saw on booking.com, but I thought it was a bedroom, with a shared kitchen and bathroom. That was not the case, it was a whole apartment for ourselves…. Last but not least, the woman who manages the booking was awesome, I was worried about how to get into the building, so I called the number given. She was pleasant, answered quickly, and she followed up with all additional calls or text, just as quick.. I appreciated the great communication, and I'm sure anyone else will too!
P.S. This is NOT a fake review, I drove 7+ hours from Connecticut to Washington D.C. and having everything fall into place was nice…. ✌️Theresa from Canada (9/10)

Such a bright, quiet and airy apt.! Two huge magnificent beds (sleigh beds!) with lots of lovely soft pillows, as requested, and crisp ironed sheets. A very comfortable and well-equipped sit-in kitchen, with laundry facilities. The location was perfect for us as my son lives around the corner, but as it’s right near the Columbia Heights Metro station it’s great for tourists too. A nice selection of restaurants, bars and shops in the area. A really pleasant residential block, with excellent security. Communication with the owners was excellent— we had a few issues with our payment method and they were incredibly understanding, helpful and patient. Messages were always responded to almost immediately, even on a holiday. So good to deal with people like this!

We were only at the 3rd floor apartment to sleep but it was easy to get to and comfortable with a television that worked. The bathroom was small, as expected, but clean. Plenty of towels, soap, etc.
Ron from Australia (9/10)
Location was excellent. Lots of food shopping nearby and with basic kitchen facilities it made meals easy to self manage. Very Close to the Greenbelt Metro, Columbia Heights Stop, so easy access to the airport and city.

Location was good. Good church, grocery store and metro station all short walk away. Lots of restaurants as well but we ate in.
