Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center Overview
First Impressions
Walking into the Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center, you immediately get that polished corporate hotel vibe — but in the best way possible. This four-star property sits right in the heart of Tysons Corner, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you’re here for business or shopping. The lobby has that sleek, modern feel without being cold, and the staff actually seems to remember return guests (which explains why so many people come back here).
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re literally steps from Tysons Corner Center mall, which is massive and has everything from Apple Store to high-end dining. The Silver Line Metro is close enough that you can easily get into DC without dealing with the nightmare that is Beltway traffic. Parking is available right at the hotel, which is honestly a relief because finding spots around here can be brutal during peak shopping times. Couples seem to absolutely love the area (I mean, a 9.4 rating speaks for itself), and I get why — there’s plenty to do within walking distance.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was on the 12th floor with a decent view of the surrounding area — nothing spectacular, but you’re not exactly here for mountain vistas. What really impressed me were the beds, and I’m someone who’s pretty picky about sleep quality. They’ve clearly invested in good mattresses and bedding because I actually slept better here than I do at home sometimes. The rooms are well-appointed without being flashy, with all the business traveler essentials like a proper desk setup and reliable WiFi.
Dining & Amenities
The on-site restaurant serves solid American fare — nothing groundbreaking, but the breakfast is dependable and the evening menu has some nice options if you don’t feel like venturing out. What I appreciated was that they actually accommodate dietary restrictions without making a big fuss about it. The fitness center is well-equipped (though it gets busy around 6-7 AM with all the business travelers), and there’s a decent-sized indoor pool that’s usually pretty quiet during the day.
Why Guests Love It
You know what sets this place apart? It’s the little things that add up. The housekeeping is consistently excellent, the front desk staff knows the area well enough to give you actual useful recommendations, and the whole operation just runs smoothly. I’ve stayed here multiple times now, and there’s something to be said for a hotel where you know exactly what you’re getting — reliable, comfortable, and professionally managed. The fact that it has such a high percentage of repeat guests tells you everything you need to know about the experience.
Best hotels in Washington blend rooftop monument views, diplomatic lounges, and spa suites inspired by Georgetown rowhouses.

Diego from Canada (9/10)
Excellent location, right next to the Tysons Corner Center mall, walking distance to the Tyson metro station (Silver line), which takes you to Washington DC and the Dulles Airport.
Sherry from United States (9/10)
The location and accommodations were excellent. You really don't have to leave the area for anything. Some of the front desk staff was "Ok," but not quite a welcoming attitude towards new visitors. However, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very good. The room was nice and spacious, exceptionally clean.
