I’ve stayed in plenty of places where you wake up feeling like you wrestled with the mattress all night, but that’s not the case here. The room itself is pretty standard Hyatt fare, clean and functional with decent space to spread out your stuff. The windows are well-insulated too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re staying downtown where there’s always some kind of noise happening outside.

Breakfast here is American-style buffet, and while it’s not going to blow your mind, it gets the job done. They’ve got the usual suspects — eggs, bacon, pastries, coffee that’s actually drinkable. What I appreciated was that they keep it well-stocked even during busy convention periods, so you’re not fighting crowds for the last piece of toast. The restaurant area is bright and spacious enough that you don’t feel rushed, which is nice when you’re trying to fuel up for a day of sightseeing or meetings.

  Spacious rooms, reception staff very friendly and accommodated early check in. Washing facilities broke during our stay and a lovely gentleman from maintenance washed all our clothes free of charge using the hotel industrial machines. Staff always had a smile on their faces and couldn’t do enough to help.
