It’s tucked into a charming Northwest DC rowhouse neighborhood, and honestly, that’s exactly what makes it special. The three-star property has this boutique feel that larger hotels just can’t replicate — you know what I mean? There’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels more like a well-appointed urban retreat than a corporate accommodation.

The location is absolutely stellar, and I’m not just saying that because the ratings back it up. You’re right in the heart of Washington‘s Dupont Circle area, which means you can walk to some of the city’s best restaurants, galleries, and nightlife without dealing with Metro transfers or expensive Uber rides. I mean, couples consistently rate this spot a 9.3 for good reason — there’s this perfect mix of residential charm and urban energy that makes evening strolls feel special. The tree-lined streets around here are gorgeous, especially if you’re visiting during cherry blossom season.

Your Home Base

The room setup here really works well for the space they’re working with. These aren’t massive hotel rooms, but they’re thoughtfully designed with clean lines and modern touches that make the most of every square foot. What I appreciated was how quiet everything felt despite being in such a central location — the windows do a solid job of keeping street noise to a minimum. The beds are comfortable, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t feel like you’re living out of a suitcase for your entire stay.

Neighborhood Dining Scene

While the property doesn’t have its own restaurant, you’re literally surrounded by incredible dining options. Komi is just a few blocks away if you want to splurge on something special, but honestly, some of my favorite meals were at the smaller bistros and cafes scattered throughout the neighborhood. There’s this great coffee shop called Filter that’s perfect for morning caffeine runs, and if you’re into happy hour, Buffalo Billiards has this relaxed vibe that locals actually frequent — not just tourists.

Look, this place isn’t trying to be the fanciest hotel in DC, and that’s exactly why it works so well. The 9.1 overall rating reflects what you actually get — solid accommodations in an unbeatable location without the premium price tag of downtown properties. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable, and there’s this authentic DC neighborhood feel that you just can’t get when you’re staying near the monuments.   We generally liked the accommodation. What we liked the most was that there was fresh fruit and water, or drinks in general. We really enjoyed that. The apartment is very large, very long. It was clean, and we felt that it was in a good neighborhood.
  
  What would make the apartment even better, a good update would be to add an air fryer and a hot plate. Then, you’d be well-equipped and could also prepare meals yourself. Two plates and proper cutlery, not plastic cutlery, would also be great. But overall, we still liked the apartment, and we can recommend this accommodation.

  The apartment is situated two blocks from U Street, lots of restaurants and bars but in a quiet little street. Very nice location for exploring DC on foot, about 20 min walk to main attractions like the White House.
  There is also a bakery worth visiting at the beginning of Swann Street.
  The brick style flat has been carefully refurbished and offers a comfy bed (queen) and a living room with a huge couch as well as a small table with two chairs and a bathroom with a tub. There is no kitchen but a microwave and a fridge, a water heater and a coffee maker.
  Easy check in with keybox, excellent communication with the host.

  Lovely space. Much bigger than expected. Nice touch with treats upon arrival, which is very thoughtful since there is not a built-in kitchen. All-in-all, comfortable place to stay.

  Great stay in one of the most beautiful streets of DC. Very good contact with the hosts. Very easy pick-up of the keys with a lock box and we felt very welcome due to available food and beverages upon arrival. We would definitely recommend and would love to come here again!
