Speaking of which — free private parking here, which anyone who’s dealt with DC area hotels will tell you is basically like finding gold. The proximity to major attractions combined with the peaceful residential setting creates an ideal balance for both leisure and business travelers.

The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of professional and comfortable that’s surprisingly hard to find. It’s clear they’ve thought about what business travelers actually need — good lighting for laptop work, plenty of outlets in logical places, and a workspace that doesn’t feel like an afterthought.   I liked everything, from the service (very friendly and attentive), to the location (close to bus stops, restaurants and markets), with special praise for the cleanliness and comfort of the room (spot clean bathroom). The complimentary pastry was delicious, and I also enjoyed the coffee and water.

  Everything here was top-knotch! In the mornings, you get a beautiful pastry from the bakery for free (for hotel guests) and a delicious coffee. The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. It being late summer, I wanted to turn the heat on at night. Im guessing the heaters hadnt been run for a fw months over summer, and so there was a bit of a burn smell (totally normal when turning on the heat for the first time). I called the front desk to alert them, in case any other guests complained and I didnt want the hotel to think I was personally burning something in my room. The front desk lady came up to check it out, helped me move to another room, and even offered me a free item from the restraunt. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I honestly felt so fancy at this place. Everything is top scale, from the rooms, the decor, the smell of the place (LOL), the staff, the bathroom toiletries, and more. I will 1,000% recommend this hotel to future employees that travel to go to the Virginia Tech Northern VA Campus.
