  The apartment was really nice and modern. The beds were really comfy. Karen was welcoming with fresh fruits in the fridge and many other little things to make our stay feel like home.

  Amma's Place was outstanding in every way! This apartment was modern, spotlessly clean, spacious, and had all the amenities anyone could need. The location was in a great residential neighborhood that was safe and very close to all the things you want to visit in Washington DC. The host was extremely accommodating and communicated with us to make sure we had everything we needed. This property gets our very best and most enthusiastic double thumbs up!

  Amazing place in a pleasant area, we really enjoyed our stay and Karen was wonderful. She left us a nice food basket so we could enjoy our first day after a long transatlantic flight without having to run out for shopping.
  Karen was also always available for giving infos etc. Should we come back to Washington DC we would definitely stay here again.

  The hosts are lovely! The place is really nice. Looks newly done up. Great location. Easy to check-in. Karen was very helpful when we asked for some help. Really nice place!

  The apartment was as depicted by photos, room for a family of five, clean and very comfortable. Karen, the host, was so kind that we could not imagine. When we arrived everything was set for us, with fruit, bread and snacks. She helped us as soon as we needed and make our staying special.
  The apartment is close to the centre that can be reached with a bus, bus stop is less than five minutes walking from the house. The neighbourhood was very quiet, all residential huoses.
  Not many restaurants near by but we were happy to have dinner at home (and in any case the apartment is close to other neighbourhoods); the kitchen was equipped with oven, microwave, fridge and everything we needed. We are very happy with our choice!

  The apartment was newly renovated and beautifully done, with high-end appliances. It was nicer than the pictures even show. The host was very sweet and helped with any of our needs. The location was perfect for us, being walking distance to MedSTAR Hospital, where my husband was having open heart surgery. It was also very close to the Capitol and Smithsonian museums
