Here’s what I love about this location — you’re right in the sweet spot between Dupont Circle and the U Street Corridor, which honestly gives you the best of both worlds. The 14th Street scene is just a few blocks away with all those trendy spots, but Swann Street itself stays pretty peaceful. Couples absolutely get it (they rate the location 9.7, which is basically unheard of), and I think it’s because you can walk to dinner somewhere amazing, then actually get a good night’s sleep afterward. The Dupont Metro stop is close enough that you don’t need to think twice about getting around Washington.

The Space Itself

The room setup works really well for what it is — you’ve got a proper one-bedroom layout instead of some cramped hotel box, plus there’s a kitchen situation that’s actually useful. I’ve stayed in plenty of places where they give you a mini-fridge and call it a day, but here you can make real coffee in the morning or grab groceries from Whole Foods down on P Street. The “bright” part of the name isn’t just marketing speak either — those windows really do flood the place with natural light, which makes even rainy DC days feel manageable.

  It was so quiet, cool in the summer heat, facilities were all beautiful and they had gone the extra mile to provide extras.

  This is a beautifully appointed apartment with all the amenities that you might require, including a desk to work at. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge area, and little luxuries like granola bars, bottled water and fresh flowers. The apartment is located close to many restaurants, a grocery store and the bus stop that is on a direct route to the McPherson metro station (and line for the airport). It was thus very easy to access coming directly from the airport with baggage. The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. I can highly recommend this apartment.

  This place is pretty practical, it has everything you may need for your stay, a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect to make a good breakfast. The neighbourhood seemed pretty safe with great places for dinner and drinks just around the corner.
  
  The unit is pretty clean, has a good bathroom with all the necessary amenities that you may need, checkin-checkout is a breeze and they will even help you keeping your luggage for a few hours if needed.
  
  Metro station is two blocks away and there are main bus lines that go down in the corner, they will go straight into the main attractions in the national mall. There is a Traders Joe's two blocks away so that's also a plus.
